Florence Lafond is a screenwriter and director who graduated in cinema from l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Lafond has directed several short films and co-wrote the series Wipe Me Away (2021), which was showcased at Canneséries. With a background in the community sector, Florence’s work typically delves into social cinema, and is often infused with humour and magical realism. She is currently developing her first feature film.
