Samuel Suffren is a Haitian director and producer. He’s working on a short film trilogy. The first film Agwe (2022) was selected at Locarno and won the best diaspora film at Fespaco. Des rêves en bateaux papiers (2024) is the second. He’s developing a feature documentary Lòtbò and his first fiction feature Je m’appelle Nina Shakira.
