A menopausal woman wakes up in the midst of a hot flash, and everything just goes downhill from there. This is a terrific one-woman performance that gets the comedy right from the start. The film strikes a good balance between seriousness and chaos as the mishaps build, but it never goes too far over the top to lose believability. Combining smart lines, slapstick, and no-shame humour, Judy, Judy, Judy is a delightful twist on a familiar theme.
