In 2029, Earth has been ravaged by the war between the malevolent artificial intelligence Skynet and the human resistance. (Yep.) Skynet sends liquid metal killing machine the T-1000 back to 1995 to eliminate resistance leader John Connor while he’s still a child. But the resistance also sends back a robot, the less advanced T-800, to protect John and his mom, Sarah (Linda Hamilton).
